18-22 MAY 2026 – LAKE TITICACA, PERU & BOLIVIA (2 Spaces Remaining)
Lake Titicaca is the Sacral Chakra of the Planet. The lake is revered as a divine entity & a source of life and wisdom. It was also considered to be the centre of the cosmos and origin of the Sun, Moon, Stars, and Humankind (Incan creation site) & therefore was one of the most sacred sites for the Inca civilization. We will visit different portals on & around the lake and participate in ceremonies with Andean medicine man, Percy Huaman Levita as our personal tour guide. We will also visit Tiwanaku, an ancient civic & sacred site of the Tiwanaku Empire (pre-Incan), which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This journey is also best suited for individuals that have been on the spiritual path for a while. It will be a very deep dive into Andean Cosmology. It’s also important to have a certain level of fitness to participate in all the activities as we will be hiking to various portals & places of significance…sometimes a few kms at a time.

ITINERARY (5 DAYS)
DAY 1 (MAY 18) – Cusco to Puno – Route of the Sun
Early morning departure from Cusco as we head towards Puno. This is a special journey by bus, which allows us to visit the many diverse locations along the way on the route of the sun such as:
• Raqchi: An Inka temple dedicated to the God Wiracocha, construction of monumental dimensions, an estimated 100 meters long, 26m wide, 14m high. This is the only known temple dedicated to the God Wiracocha, creator of the Universe.
• La Raya: Midway point on our journey and the highest point on the road – 4335m – The impressive views here allow us to admire the rugged high altitude, full of tall peaks, many of which are snow-capped, and we will observe herds of llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas. This is the geographic border between two cultures, the Quechua of Cusco and the Aymara of Puno.
• Pucara: This ceremonial centre is one of the oldest and most important of the high plains, well known for its lithic structures and tombs.
On arrival in Puno, we will check into our hotel for the night.
DAY 2 (MAY 19) – Puno – Kasani – Copacabana – Sun Island
After an early breakfast, we will visit Amaru Muru aka “the Gate of the Gods” which translates to ‘the serpent’s mouth’. This is one of the most mystical and energetic places that exist near Lake Titicaca.
We will then continue to Kasani & cross over into Bolivia. After another short 20 minute drive, we will arrive Copacabana town. After lunch, we will travel by boat to the southern part of Isla del Sol ‘the island of the sun’, the largest island on Lake Titicaca. Here you can see the archaeological centre of Pilkokayna, where the Incas performed ceremonies of worship to the god Inti (Father Sun). We continue by the stairs of Yumani Inca road that leads us to the Fountain of Eternal Youth (here you have the privilege of purifying yourself with some sacred water). After having received the energy of this mystical place, we will journey further by boat to the North part of the island where will stay the night in a Homestay.
DAY 3 (MAY 20) – Sun Island
In the morning, we will begin our medicine walk and visit the ancient ceremonial site of Chinkana aka ‘the Temple of the Sun’. You will have the opportunity to work in ceremony with the sacred medicine of Huachuma (aka San Pedro cactus – see Note 1)
DAY 4 (MAY 21) – Moon Island – Tiwanaku
After an early start, we will travel to Isla de la Luna “the Island of the Moon”, which is the legendary home of the Inca goddess Mama Quila (Mother Moon). After connecting to this powerful site, we will make our way back to Copacabana by boat then towards Tiwanaku. After checking into our lovely guesthouse, we’ll have dinner & rest.
DAY 5 (MAY 22) – Tiwanaku – Puno
In the morning after breakfast, we will visit Tiwanaku (or Tiahuanaco), which is an ancient civic and sacred site consisting of former pyramids, gateways & monuments located in western Bolivia near the southeast shore of Lake Titicaca. It was both the political and spiritual capital of the Tiwanaku Empire (pre-Incan) between 200 and 1000 CE and was an integral part of the spiritual traditions of the Lake Titicaca region, whose elements can be seen in the sculptures and carvings on the structures at the site. In 2000, Tiwanaku was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and today it is a significant cultural and religious site for the indigenous Aymara people of Bolivia.
In the afternoon after lunch, we will travel back to Puno where you can fly to Lima from Juliaca Airport or travel back to Cusco. It’s a good idea to book flights to Lima on May 23rd as we’ll only arrive in the early evening when there are no flights. There is a night bus to Cusco that leaves at 10pm if you are planning to go back to the Sacred Valley.
Some of the key features of Tiwanaku include:
- The Sun Gate (Inti Punku): An iconic stone structure featuring intricate carvings and believed to have been a ceremonial entrance to the city.
- The Kalasasaya temple: A large rectangular platform with a central courtyard, likely used for ceremonies and rituals. The size of temple is 130m x 120m ritual platform with impressive steps.
- The Akapana pyramid: A massive stepped pyramid that may have served as a religious or ceremonial centre.
- The Semi-Subterranean Temple: An underground structure with intricate stone carvings, thought to have had religious significance. The Size is 26m x 28m sunken pit with 178 carved stone faces.
- Puerta del Sol: Another intricately carved stone structure that is believed to have been a ceremonial gateway.
- The Puma Punku complex: An area within Tiwanaku known for its megalithic stone blocks and advanced engineering techniques.
- The Tiwanaku Museum: A museum on-site that displays artifacts and exhibits related to the Tiwanaku civilization, providing a deeper understanding of the culture and history of the ancient people.

NOTES
Note 1 – Huachuma “aka San Pedro cactus” is a sacred ancestral visionary medicine of the ancient Andean Mountains of Peru. The journey brings us through to our shadows & places that are asking for our attention so we may transcend our inner barriers and bring us awareness, new perspectives & aligned ways of being. It is known as a heart opener & opens a path to the heart and soul. It greatly expands those emotions of the heart to include love, forgiveness, joy, and even sorrow. Huachuma is a gentle medicine but incredibly powerful.
